Psalm 119:28 My soul weeps because of grief; Strengthen me according to Your word.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
The soul is the heart of man or woman. When a person goes through trauma, (emotional or physical) and other events in life, your heart can be broken. Your soul can be wounded. When we have addressed all the physical reasons of your ailment and are not getting the break through that we desire, we look to the spiritual roots. This is where we aid or help facilitate bringing forth the broken heart to Christ who is the true healer of the broken in heart. As a Christian holistic healing ministry we believe in the power of prayer.
The scriptures above reflect that you can have a broken heart. Through prayer and the touch of Jesus your broken heart can be healed. This is vital to your overall healing process. It is well known in the medical profession that negative emotions can effect the physical body. Our goal is to get to the root of your affliction and get you healed. If you suffer from a physical ailment that is rooted in emotional trauma then no matter what you do for the body full healing will not come. When the emotional trauma (broken heart) is healed then the physical healing will come as well. This is achieved through specific prayers and allowing Jesus to heal your heart.
The Spirit
Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?
Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
Psalm 34:19 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
The Spirit is the mysterious aspect of our nature that is created to know God. The spirit can be broken and affect your health. As you can see in the scriptures above that your spirit's health is important to your overall well being. The scriptures above prove that the health of your spirit is important for your overall health. In the above Proverb it says that if your spirit is broken it dries up the bones. Could this be the root cause of osteoporosis?
Can laughter actually be good for the soul? And if it’s true can the opposite such as depression bring bone loss? What ever the answer may be God knows, and He is the answer. We believe in the power of God to heal and deliver.
